If you’ve never experienced this paper then you don’t know how joyful writing can be!  This paper really is incredible; I just love it and you will simply love to write on it.

Imported from Japan, Tomoe River paper is known for being incredibly thin at only 52gsm and is acid-free, pH neutral making it incredibly fountain pen friendly.  It is available in a pack of 100 plain sheets in either white or cream and it comes in loose sheets or a top-glued tablet (pad).  The pad style includes a writing guide and the top sheet is a sheet of blotter paper.

This paper can have quite a long drying time so some good blotting paper is a must.  And don’t even thing of trying the smear test – it WILL smear!

The Tomoe River paper is incredibly luxurious fountain pen friendly writing paper; it’s like writing on dreamy satin or smooth silk.  The fountain pen just glides across the page and with no feathering and no bleeding.  It is writing perfection even with the larger nibs – like the music nibs.  And even a very heavy-handed person can write beautifully on this paper.

All of the Tomoe River is in this same style; just plain silky smooth paper; no lines and no dots and no graph; just plain excellent writing paper.

I really can’t say enough good things about this paper.  I debated a great deal about carrying this line as it is rather expensive writing paper but once I really started using it I was hooked and I knew I had to carry it so my customers could experience this luxurious writing paper.

Writing on this paper is just so much fun!  I am very heavy-handed and I use the larger nibs on the fountain pens yet I have no issues with this paper whatsoever.  It is definitely my new favorite!
