LEONARDO FURORE EMERALD BLUE FOUNTAIN PEN RH

Introducing the Leonardo Furore Emerald Blue fountain pen RH ~ Launched in 2018, the Furore collection is inspired by a magical place.
Sometimes called “the place that doesn’t exist,” Furore is a corner of the Amalfi Coast whose purity and simplicity is exceeded only by its majesty. Halfway between Sorrento and Amalfi, just below the Path of the Gods, Furore is the hidden gem nestled between rough cliffs and the sea that derives its name from the roaring of the waves in stormy weather. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, it is officially considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Furore counts only 800 permanent inhabitants. It is not easily reachable, but once there, you may never want to return from whence you came.

Many have been inspired by Furore’s charms and colors.
In this collection we sought to reference all that makes Furore such an otherworldly place.
The resins we chose reference the village’s natural wonders, ceramics, vegetation and all the art it has inspired, including Rossellini’s film “L’Amore” and many works in ceramic and bronze.

The Leonardo Furore has a vintage shape that harkens to the past. It is soft at both ends, making it balanced even when it is uncapped. It has a flexible clip with a rotating washer for carrying it in a pocket or pen loop with ease.

This is a truly special model befitting this truly singular and spectacular place.

The Grotto dello Smeraldo was formed over millennia and for much of that time was only a mysterious legend. Discovered by a fisherman in 1932, the grotto gradually filled with seawater and when the sunlight filters through it, the turquoise waters are tinged with a magical emerald color that sends sparkling reflections onto the cave walls. We based the Furore Smeraldo on this unusual color found in this especially unusual place.

And the story goes on… A family tradition. Leonardo Officina Italiana is a forge, a laboratory where experience and craftsmanship are mixed giving life to “pleasure”, the pleasure of writing. Over 45 years of experience in the field of writing instruments, handed down from father to son, from generation to generation. Today Leonardo Officina Italiana works on emotional and vintage projects, taking up the old loading systems, the materials and the working techniques that once characterized the craft of the craftsman. The Leonardo pens have a soul, a human warmth that only passion can give. The fountain pen carved into the material is certainly this detail that differentiates us on the world market. Each Leonardo collection is hand made with love in Italy.

This means creating pens that pay homage to vintage filling systems, materials and traditional techniques. Each pen is made using carefully selected materials such as ebonite, wood, resins and precious metals, and every piece we make bears our name. Solely crafted in Italy, we strive to differentiate our brand globally.

Our pens celebrate place.
Italy’s landscape, waters, flora and fauna. Our country’s films, art and history from ancient times to present day.

Most importantly, each Leonardo pen has a soul and imbues the warmth that only our passion for making pens can bestow on it. We seek to shed light on Italian artistry in a way that expresses innovation and modernity coupled with our rich heritage. These are the common threads expressed in every Leonardo collection.

This is our story.
This is our legacy.
These are the traditions that have inspired us to create new ones.
