Drawing on the rich cultural symbolism and mesmerizing appearance of these scaled creatures, the Mangrove Viper features a namesake hand-colored sculptured snake coiled around the pen’s body. Made from an emerald green material, the pen showcases the reddish-purple snake, Mangrove Viper, a venomous pit viper species native to India, Bangladesh and Southeast Asia. This snake is very peculiar in that, contrary to most other snakes, it doesn’t lay eggs, but instead gives birth to live young. With its body color highly variable from olive to dark purple, this creature is a true nature’s wonder that has inspired the design of this pen.
