Father’s Day 2017

It is hard to believe Father’s Day 2017 is upon us.  I remember my dad always told me “just wait until you are older; time will really fly by then and you will wonder what happened to all that time I had on my hands” when I used to complain so much about how the school year would creep by.

If you still have your father here on this earth be thankful for him.  Tell him you love him and be grateful for all he has done for you in your life to raise you up to be the good person you are.

I no longer have my father here with me so Father’s Day is bittersweet for me.  I wish I still had him here – but only if he could be here in good health.  I would love to talk to him again.  I wish my gift could be more time here with me.  It is a selfish gift that I wish for myself but of course it is not to be.

While we have many great Father’s Day gifts here in store this post is not about what we have to sell.  This time it’s about your dad.  Just be with him and give him your time.  Your love and your time spent with him are the most precious gifts you can give.
