BENU MILKY WAY AND DIAMINE LAVENDER FROST

A match made in the heavens ~ BENU MILKY WAY AND DIAMINE  LAVENDER FROST.  The Benu Milky Way Briolette fountain pen with the Diamine lavender frost shimmer ink from the 2023 purple inkvent calendar. Testing today on the I Love Cactus notebook.  Great, ink-loving paper that is smooth with just a tiny tooth to maintain control.
The pen is a fairly small pen with the faceted body and cap.   It does, of course, have all the sparkle and shine that Benu is known for.  The color is like the milky way in space; a little midnight black and a lot of dark purple with lots of diamond white sparkles.  The cap does NOT post on this one which make this pen good for small hands.  It comes complete with a standard converter and it will accept the standard ink cartridges as well.  It has the #5 Schmidt steel nib. The Milky Way is quite a beauty.
The lavender frost ink goes quite well with this pen as it also has some shimmer.  As with any shimmer ink you need to gently shake or roll the bottle to mix the shimmer as it will settle on the bottom.  The just gently roll the pen before each use to keep the shimmer mixed in the pen barrel.  The ink is bottled in the 50ml inkvent bottle.  The bottles stand so nicely on the feet and are great to reuse for other inks.  Just clean them out when empty and refill with your favorite color.
